Privacy

AtmosBG requires no registration and does not collect personal data.

What is stored on your device

In your browser storage (localStorage) we only keep your settings – text size, units, theme – and the “My places” list. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Location

The “Near me” button asks for your location only when you press it. The coordinates are used in your browser to find the nearest place and are not sent to our server.

Third-party services

Maps load from CARTO and OpenStreetMap, radar from RainViewer and layers from OpenWeather. These services see your IP address in order to deliver the images.
